'Little Princess' is a highly reliable, compact, deciduous shrub that forms a neat, rounded mound of fine, mint-green foliage. In summer, the entire shrub is covered in flat, showy clusters (corymbs) of tiny, fuzzy, rose-pink flowers, creating a soft, colourful dome that works beautifully as a low hedge or border edge.
This shrub is tough, highly adaptable, and thrives in full sun, though it will tolerate light shade. It is very easy to care for; simply trim the shrub lightly to shape immediately after the pink flowers fade to maintain its neat, spherical habit and encourage dense, healthy new growth.

To keep Spiraea looking like a tight, neat green mound, wait until immediately after it finishes flowering and then shear the entire plant back by about a third to remove the dead blooms and encourage dense new foliage.
