Also known as 'Golden Baby', this is a fantastic dwarf variety of Goldenrod that produces an abundance of dense, fluffy, golden-yellow flower plumes on a neat, compact frame. Unlike older, weedier varieties of Goldenrod, this cultivar is well-behaved and provides intense, late-season colour that is highly attractive to migrating butterflies.
This plant is incredibly hardy, drought-tolerant, and adaptable to almost any soil type, provided it is well-drained. It requires full sun for the strongest growth; cut the old stems back to the ground once the yellow plumes have faded to keep the clump looking neat and healthy.
