The Panicum virgatum ‘Heavy Metal’ is a deciduous ornamental grass. This variety features flat, narrow blue-grey leaves. Pink flowers appear in Summer and create a beautiful contrast with the foliage. The Panicum virgatum ‘Heavy Metal’ is hardy and will thrive in most soil types. This particular will be best planted in a full sun or partially shaded location.
