Hemerocallis Pink Damask is a highly adaptable, iron-clad daylily that forms a polite, stationary clump of arching green foliage. It is prized for its massive, warm terracotta-rose pink blooms that open daily throughout the peak heat of mid-summer, providing a massive hit of warm colour exactly when many early bloomers are fading.
Plant it in any decent soil and provide a reliable supply of water to fuel its heavy floral output. To keep the plant vigorous and prevent the centre of the clump from choking itself out and dying, you must physically dig it up and divide the massive, fleshy root ball with a sharp spade every three to four years.
