Foeniculum Purpureum is the ultimate high-contrast structural anchor for the garden. You must plant it in absolute full, uncompromising sunlight; if you put it in the shade, the spectacular purple foliage will turn a sickly, murky green. Ensure the soil drains rapidly, and do not ever attempt to dig it up or move it once that massive taproot has firmly anchored itself into the earth.
