Delphinium Atlantis is a Belladonna-type variety, meaning it naturally grows slightly shorter and significantly bushier than its towering cousins. It is highly prized for its intensely saturated, deep marine-blue flowers that sit loosely on branching stems above deeply divided, mid-green foliage, adding a brilliant hit of cool colour to the garden.
Give it a home in fertile, well-draining dirt bathed in full sun, and while shorter, it still requires consistent watering to support its rapid growth and heavy floral output. To maximise your investment, immediately cut the main stems back to the foliage line once the blue petals drop to force a secondary, later flush of blooms.
