Carex Morrowii 'Ice Dance' is an attractive and densely tufted ornamental sedge that makes an excellent groundcover. It is a slow-spreading, evergreen with glossy green blades that are margined with white and it produces small, brown flower spikes in late spring. This tough sedge grass is very low maintenance and will grow in many garden situations. Plant it in low borders or containers and admire its beautiful contrasting colours all year round.
It will thrive in fertile, medium to wet soils and does well in full sun or part shade. Remove faded or dead foliage in spring.
