Ideal for adding height and architectural interest to beds and borders, Miscanthus Gracillimus is an attractive ornamental grass plant with long, slender green leaves featuring a white midrib. From late summer, tall stems bear coppery-purple plumes of flowers that can be left in situ to provide texture interest throughout winter.

Also known by the common names Eulalia or Maiden Grass, Miscanthus Gracillimus adds texture and movement to any outdoor space. Its narrow leaves and tall flower stems sway and shimmer in the breeze, the copper plumes beautifully complementing the rich green foliage.

These ornamental grass plants are low maintenance and easy to care for. They thrive in full sun and prefer moist but well-draining soil. They are fully hardy ornamental grasses and only require an annual prune in early spring to remove old stems and make way for fresh new growth.
