'Robert' is a fantastic, compact variety of Loosestrife that produces stiff, upright stems adorned with intense, vibrant pinkish-red starry flowers. It provides exceptional vertical structure and bright colour in the late summer border, whilst its willow-like foliage often turns attractive shades of red and orange before falling.
This perennial is a true moisture-lover, making it a perfect candidate for bog gardens, pond margins, or heavy clay soils where other plants might drown. It thrives in full sun, requires very little maintenance, and can be easily divided to create new plants when the clump becomes too large.
