Anleitung
Profi-Tipp
Leave a few seed heads on Purple Loosestrife at the end of the season to encourage a gentle, natural scattering of new plants the following year. As the seed heads dry and release, they’ll drop a light sprinkle of seedlings around the base, helping Lythrum form a fuller, more natural-looking clump over time without becoming invasive.
Richtig gießen
Water Lythrum regularly during dry spells, keeping the soil consistently moist but never waterlogged. Once established, it becomes more tolerant of short dry periods, but steady moisture in early summer will help support strong, upright flower spikes.
Richtig pflanzen
Choose a sunny spot and prepare the soil by loosening it well and mixing in a little compost for added structure. Plant Lythrum at the same depth as it was in its pot, firm the soil gently around the roots, and water thoroughly to help it settle in.
