Lavender stoechas is distinctive because it flowers earlier than English lavender and can repeat-flower. To encourage a second flush of blooms later in the season, deadhead the spent flowers immediately after they fade, followed by a light trim in early autumn to keep the shape tidy.

Water young Lavender stoechas plants moderately to help them settle in, but avoid keeping the soil wet. Once established, it is extremely drought-resistant and thrives in dry conditions; overwatering or soggy soil is the quickest way to kill this plant.
