Another exquisite Siberian Iris, 'Perry's Blue' is cherished for its clear, bright sky-blue petals that bring a refreshing, airy feel to herbaceous borders or water-side plantings. The delicate, papery blooms are held high on sturdy, slender stems above clumps of upright, grassy foliage.
This variety shares the easy-going nature of most Siberian Irises, thriving in moist, fertile ground and performing excellently near the edges of ponds or streams. Ensure it receives plenty of sunlight to encourage the best flower production, and cut the dying foliage back to the base to tidy the plant.
