Carex Oshimensis 'Everlime' is an easy to grow, evergreen ornamental sedge that hardly requires any maintenance. It forms a neat and easily controlled mound with distinctive, arching green blades with lime margins. This attractive, versatile sedge offers year-round interest with its bright, contrasting colour scheme, adds texture to any garden display and provides excellent ground cover. In the summer small, inconspicuous brown flower spikelets appear amongst its foliage.
While tolerant of moist to dry conditions, this sedge dislikes being waterlogged and does best in moist, well-drained soils. Grows well in sun, partial shade and shade. Water at least 2 or 3 times a week in the first year after planting until established.
