Produktbeschreibung
Growing to 60-70cm tall, these Golden Parade Tulip bulbs produce a splash of colour in any outdoor space. Their cheerful cup-shaped flowerheads are a buttery shade of yellow on the outside, darkening slightly on the inside with contrasting black centres. They stand upright on sturdy green stems protruding from lush, lanceolate, grey-green leaves.
Available from early August to mid-December, these 11-12 sized Tulip bulbs are relatively simple to grow and care for. The ideal time to plant them is from September to October in pots or mid-October – December (after the first frost) in beds and borders. Choose a sheltered, sunny spot and dig a hole around 10-20cm deep in well-draining soil. Position the Tulip bulb in the hole and backfill with soil, gently firming down as you go, then water in well. Leave 10-15cm between these flower bulbs to afford space for the roots to develop.
During the growing season, Tulips benefit from applying a high-potash fertiliser to help encourage an abundance of flowers from April to May. When the flowers begin to fade, deadhead spent blooms then allow the plant time to die back completely before removing the foliage. The bulbs can then either be dug up and stored for planting the next autumn or left in the ground to flower in the same place the following year.
Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.

Anleitung
Profi-Tipp
Create a longer, more staggered display by planting Tulips at slightly different depths within the same group. The bulbs set a little deeper tend to flower later than the ones planted nearer the surface, which gives you a gentle, extended wave of colour from a single patch.
Richtig gießen
Give Tulip bulbs a good drink after planting and water lightly through autumn. Natural rainwater should be enough to keep the bulbs happy through winter. During the flowering season, water during dry spells to keep the soil moist but not waterlogged.
Richtig pflanzen
Plant Tulip bulbs around 10-15cm deep, placing each one with the pointed end facing upwards. Space them 10-12cm apart to give the plants room to grow and to create a full, even display in spring.
