These Tulip plants flower from April to May with long lasting blooms that open out from pink and green buds. The flowers are similar in appearance to Peonies and grow upright on stems above a bed of lanceolate grey-green foliage.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese 11-12 sized Tulip bulbs are relatively simple to grow and care for. The ideal time to plant them is from September to October in pots or mid-October – December (after the first frost) in beds and borders. Choose a sheltered, sunny spot and dig a hole around 20cm deep in well-draining soil. Position the Tulip bulb in the hole with the pointed end facing the sky and backfill with soil, gently firming down as you go, then water in well.
